The summer e-newsletter only went out in June, and there is already too much going on to wait for the Autumn. So here is another update for you on what’s been going on in Landscape, Countryside and Planning to read while relaxing on your summer holiday! It’s the first e-news from our new office at the Augustine United Church.

We are celebrating news of the announcement of the proposed location for Scotland’s next National Park. We’re also asking members and supporters to add their voice to our ‘Scotland loves National Parks’ campaign. We need to show Scottish Government and MSPs again how important this issue is for people as the statutory consultation process starts in Galloway. The final say goes to Ministers and then to the Scottish Parliament in a vote.  

We’ve just published new guidance on Energy Infrastructure and Planning due to a huge increase in the number of enquiries we are getting on energy projects.

This month we said a final farewell to Sarah and Jo as well as James Mackenzie, who has been doing Parliamentary work for APRS on deposit return for a decade. We now have half the staff capacity from a few months ago.
