This is an extra Spring e-news for APRS supporters. We have news on our in-person event, and what we can learn from our history of campaigning on energy infrastructure. 

But most of all it’s to tell everyone that this week only (22-29 April 2025), your donations to APRS will be doubled thanks to the Green Funders Network.

We had such a successful appeal last year, raising £8,770 (including match funding) we have applied for a target of £10,000 giving this year which would become £20,000 with the match funding. It’s a big ask so please do donate!

In other news, we have some brilliant old photos of the glens taken back in 1936 and found in our archive. We are wondering what the views look like today – so if you’re out and about in the Highlands this summer look at our map to see whether you’ll be passing close to one of the spots and take an up-to-date photo!
