Autumn is definitely in the air and I hope that folks are able to get out and enjoy the beautiful clear September weather. I was on a walk along the Forth and Clyde canal at the weekend and the hedges were crammed with hips and haws. Are the rowans particularly laden with berries this year?

Another busy newsletter – firstly we have details to share of our joint Winter Webinar series with Planning Democracy – the theme is biodiversity and planning. We also feature a new report on the benefits of National Parks, which we helped produce and our Director Kat has a seven-date lecture tour with the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.
