Royal Highland Show 2023

APRS will return to the Royal Highland Show in June 2023 engaging visitors about the launch of the Deposit Return System (DRS) across Scotland in August 2023 as well as our other projects and campaigning work.

Wildlife of the Firth of Forth Photography Exhibition

APRS will be joining the CLP Nature Conservation Group and Forth Islands Heritage Group on Sat 25th Feb in Fife, to help raise awareness of Firth of Forth wildlife and habitats unknown to many locally. Visitors will get a chance to meet those working in this field and find out how they themselves can get involved. We will be promoting our Deposit Return campaign and litter survey.

New APRS Deposit Return Litter Survey launched!

We are calling for litter-picking volunteers to join our Deposit Return Litter Survey working with MCS’s Source to Sea project. We are gathering data pre and post the DRS launch, to support the ongoing campaign for deposit return and to show the impact DRS can make. Can you help us? If so more info at www.aprs.scot or contact Joanna at education@aprs.scot. The photo below shows the sight that greeted Aileen, one of our litter survey volunteers in Winchburgh. She cleaned and recycled these through the trial deposit return system at her local Sainsburys!
