This webinar is an opportunity to hear from a local authority planner’s perspective about the new Local Development Plan process and how best to engage and understand some of the constraints that planning departments are under.
Local authority heads of planning joined us to talk through their experiences and answer our questions.
This session was designed to help us consider how best to collaborate with local authorities to incorporate community and environmental concerns into the Local Development Plans and Local Place Plans.

Trevor Moffat is a Planning Skills Project Manager & Heads of Planning Scotland Secretary at The Improvement Service. Discussing the role of the Improvement Service and the role of the Heads of Planning and their relevance to Local Development Planning.
Antony McGuinness is the Manager for Development Planning, Environment, Climate Change, Creative Placemaking and Urban Design at Angus Council. Explaining practicalities around the opportunities for public engagement.
