This is a proposal for a 500MW data centre and is in the pre-planning stage. It is on Drumshangie moss and Drumshangie former coal mine near Greengairs, just outside Airdrie. The area includes the area of the memorial for the Stanrigg pit disaster. The developer for this site is Apatura.

It had been noted as a site for a Data Centre in a previous Local Development Plan. This was switched in the most recent local development plan to being for mixed use.
